Behavior Report-Next Steps

Behavior Report-Next Steps

When creating a Behavior report, the user is provided three options for the report in the “Next Steps” section of the Behavior report.

1.   ODR (Office Disciplinary Report). This selection kicks off a workflow to send the behavior report to the school administrator of the student’s school.  The school administrator can then react to the student behavior and log any additional actions to the student such as suspension, parent conference, etc.

2.  Administrator Support Request.  This action allows the user to send a question to the School Administrator by adding to the “Nature of Request” to allow the administrator to advise the user on actions for the behavior.  The school administrator may decide to convert the report to an ODR if deemed necessary.  Responses to the user for a “Administrator Support Request” will be sent to the users “Admin Assistance Request” tab on their workspace.

3.   Record Report Only.  This selection will simply log the report in BLOOM and no further action is required by the user.

Note:  If the user wishes to add additional students, files, or comments to the behavior report the user can add items to the report for up to 7 days past the creation date of the report.
